We try to be as all encompassing as possible with features catering for all ages, whether they are locals or visitors to the Aberystwyth and Aberaeon.
People of all ages can also take advantage of our money saving ‘EGO tokens’ which are a free service that we offer to our advertisers.
Our free online version has opened up the magazine to readers outside the area and which has been particularly useful for University alumni wanting to stay in touch with the town via a digital platform.
The many tourists that visit the area are able to enjoy our reviews of local events and attractions together with our walking guides and features on local restaurants.
Whether local, visitor or student, our extensive What’s On Guide has arguably made us the most indispensable monthly guide to life in Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and environs.
Our current print run consists of 6,000 hard copies that are distributed via over 100 outlets by the 1st of each month. We also have a free on-line version that increases in popularity every month.
We estimate that between 2 and 5 people read each edition of The EGO® and therefore an estimation of our current readership would be in excess of 20,000.
In addition to our retail outlets, we have a distribution strategy designed to make The EGO® a presence across the area, specifically targeting caravan parks, hotels and waiting rooms.
